I think it was hilarious in the first video where they had the RC plane flying alongside a real airplane (by coincidence) in the background and they all seemed like they were cheering the RC plane on to beat the real plane.

Do they actually sell official Porco Rosso model planes in Japan? Because those red and green ones in the second clip look nice.

Possible, but they look like they might have been custom built by experienced modelers. Really good modelers can build just about anything, though planes like those would have taken quite a bit of time and cash. The white one is impressive - three tri-wings in such close proximity would create aerodynamic instability issues, which the builder seems to have worked out quite well. The dogfight was cool too.
