I really wish that I could afford to go Tokyo and see that event. Ok, lottery, time to win you!

I bet the "legendary" songstress will be Minmay, maybe even her voice actress will be there in person.
I would like to see a picture of that Valkyrie, that sounds cool!

Yup, I want a picture of that VF-25... and? It's strange that it's already been 5 years since MacrossF.
Time is like a VF, It moves too fast.

Actually 4 years because it aired in 2008, but yeah, it's really strange to think about how much has happened over the years.
Also keeping my fingers crossed that they announce the next "Macross" project (even if it's probably just going to be an OVA).

My prediction has always been that for the 30th anniversary they will do a project that finally tells what happened to all the old characters from the previous shows. All the shows end with the characters just vanishing out into space, never to be heard from again.
I bet there will be something where they are all brought together by some Protoprotoculture and have one big adventure. I hope I hope.

Don't count on it. It's long been stated that the Megaroad was lost in a black hole. Maybe the later mysteries.
As cool as this sounds, it also sounds way more like a Macross Frontier 5th anniversary event than a franchise 30th, just like the launch festival. I know it's the hot property and part of the franchise, but they could've at least made it a life size VF-1.

They won't as long as Shoji Kawamori is head of the Macross franchise.

Would love to go to this event, if I could. As others have mentioned, I have a keen interest in seeing what the life size VF-25 looks like.
