Its kinda sad, I really like negima.
 I wonder what's his , next project.

I honestly cannot believe this at all. There's a whole ton of stuff that wasn't even covered, not to mention a bunch of unanswered questions, and Akamatsu is just up and ending it in a short time. I'm upset.

This seems way too short... Either the publisher told him to end it or he will continue the series with a different title.

Actually, looking at it...if these are coming after volume 37, then volume 38 will have 3 chapters that are very long.

The publisher obviously didn't tell him to end it, it's one of Weekly Shonen Magazine's top sellers.

Part of me wonders if after Akamatsu's attempts at digital manga with J-Comi has soured his mood a little and perhaps has lost some motivation to continue his manga. Or maybe he wants to spend more time on that project and drawing Negima was taking up too much of his time. Or maybe he just wants to draw something else for awhile.

Wow...That was a slap to my face.
This is one of my top 5 fave manga, and this has to end? Seems kinda sad that it has to end this way. 
Makes me wonder if Ken Akamatsu will do the next project? |

I just hope that we can get the OADs and movie here at some point as consolation for the series ending.

Wow, I might be 20 or chapters behind since I stopped keeping up, but I'm still surprised it's ending, and with such short notice too. I hope it ends well!
I am glad it is getting a proper ending though, part of the reason I took a break on it was that it seemed to be dragging on a bit. Now I just have to wait a few more weeks and can finish it in one big bite. On a similar point, it's also nice to know that I only will need to buy a few more volumes. With these long series you sometimes don't know just how many volumes you'll have to buy, or if it will be finished. I also hope that the end of the series gets animated, that'd be a nice bonus. |

Given the latest chapter, spoiler[where Asuna is taken back to "Mars" to sleep for a hundred years], I have to wonder how Ken is gonna end it in 3 chapters. Also, will Kondasha accelerate the releases stateside to at least catchup and finish it?
Akamatsu's wife probably demanded a PERMANENT HIATUS. |

I'm betting on this possibility. Because spoiler[it wouldn't be "Negima! Magister Negi Magi" anymore if he were to just do a timeskip and drop 90% of the cast.]
Won't happen. The movie was the end of the anime. |
