I need a little help, and I'm sure that many people are getting sick of these help thraeds but...I need to know if there are any good mangas that are completed and every volume transilated into english. I keep getting series that are at dead ends and I have read all the way up to the most recent volume. The anticipation for the next volumes is way too much. I have Berserk, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Hellsing. I would like to actualy finish a series at some point.

I would suggest Planetes (5 volumes), G.T.O. (25), and Sexy Voice and Robo (1).

Well, you can go for the classics Akira and Nausicaa. Both are completely finished and I believe every manga fan should read at some point since it shows some of the greatest artists at their best. (Plus, if you ever seen the anime adaptation of Akira, you must see the full and different story in the manga.)

Read GUNNM aka Battle Angel, Blade of the Immortal (pm about it) or Maison Ikkoku. All three great reads!
And I second Nausicaa, a classic! Also recommend Mai the Psychic Girl, Sanctuary, Strain, Crying Freeman and Urusei Yatsura too. Last edited by mahoro on Sat Sep 03, 2005 2:31 pm; edited 1 time in total |

If you want to read some romance try Alice 19th(7).

No, but it's getting there. There are 31 out of 36 volumes out. On the subject of completed Rumic series, Mermaid Saga is finished at 4 volumes, and so are Rumic Theater (2 volumes) and Rumic World (3). Although the series itself is unfinished, One-Pound Gospel's out at three volumes. Maison Ikkoku should be done by the end of this year. Some other finished series include Imadoki (5), Azumanga Daioh (4), Cyborg 009(10), Marmalade Boy(8), .hack//legend of the twilight(3, soon to be in a box set), and Dragon Ball (16, not counting DBZ). |

Black and White, only 3 volumes but the best 3 volume manga you'll ever buy.

Most of CLAMP's series are finished, too. You can find a list of all of their manga here. Unfortunately I haven't read any of the manga you listed (yet), so I suggest you might just look through the list...

Love Hina and A.I Love you are finished. There are 5 Cowboy Bebop manga out there. 3 are kind of like side adventures that the t.v series never aired, and 2 of them are retellings of the Cowboy Bebop world. It's called Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star. Ragnarok is a manwha and though it is technically unfinished, it's not going to get to the 11th volume any time soon. Is the Trigun: Maximum mangas done yet or is there still more to come?

but there not all done yet and i think what he wants is one thats already done. I do not suggest planetes because it sucks. i dont know if yugioh is done, but the manga is good. the anime blows but the manga is good. dance until tommorow is done and it was good. |

Every single one of them is done. And I take offense when someone thinks that Yu-Gi-Oh is anywhere in league with Planetes. I wouldn't expect you to handle something as mature as that. |

You're wrong on 4 account. 1) The titles mention above are all done. 2) Planetes is awesome on many different level. A good sienen title. 3) Yugioh isn't done yet, you're recommeding something that is still being release. 4) Yugioh is a average shonen title that seem to be overpopular and overrated by the casual mainstream cartoon fan. It's probably the least interesting book with DBZ in the whole SJ lineup. |
