NEWS: 1st Macross Series Gets BD Box with Pachinko Footage

I'm eagerly awaiting the BD release of DYRL (and Macross Plus).

I'm not sure Flash Back 2012 would benefit from BD unless they are able to do a new telecine of the concert footage. It might be better as an extra bundled with a special edition of DYRL.

As for the TV series, I did pay over $500 for the huge LD-BOX back in the day (which I got signed by Kawamori), and I think that will have to do. Not as much disposable income these days. The LD set has some of the same extras like the SD OP.

No they are not.


You can always email Bandai Visual and ask them for subtitles. It didn't work for Gunbuster, but worth a shot.

If Flash Back has its own reels of film for them to do a new transfer, I don't see why not including it as an extra.
