Diabetes? Too much junk food and noodles?

How much can we bet that some otaku are gonna try to give blood all 3 days?! Laughing

Kidding aside, I don't make fun of people who are doing the right thing (like say, guys who wear bought pink T-shirts for breast cancer awareness and research). I used to give a test tube of blood every week to a lab for cystic fibrosis research. So kudos to them.

Hepatitis.

This is a genius idea. Offer free anime swag to the teeming otaku masses, and replenish the blood supply in the process. Everyone wins!

Am I the only person that thinks this might be a bad idea? I mean it is great that they are going to be adding to the blodd supply, but, this may not be the ideal situation.
1. Many of the people at Comiket do not eat well or at all durring the event.
2. Asians tend to have smaller body masses so drawing the same amount of blood will have a greater effect on them.
3. The place is suppose to be pretty hot from what I understand.
4. Alot of walking around, lack of sleep lead to exaughstion.

Poor eating, little sleep, overly warm temps, less blood...
I would be surprised to see a wave faintings at Comiket if alot of otaku decied to donate blood there.

Man, if all you do is bash anime and anime fans and praise America, why are you even here?

Where do I bash anime and praise America? That goes for American otaku-funk too! Razz
(It's an equal-opportunity effector.)
