If it makes you feel better it's not going to be a slice-of-life show.

The only thing I want to see involving the creator of Full Metal Panic and Kyoto Animation is when they plan to finish adapting Full Metal Panic.

This.
I wish Kyo-ani can finally get it through there thick heads and see that there is still a market here for Full Metal Panic. Honestly, I still always see people everywhere saying that all they really want from them is just another season of FMP. Imo, there's nothing wrong with making new shows, but before anything else, they just need to finish what they started.
Well...(looks at Gonzo)...kinda started.

It's Kadokawa not KyoAni who decide when more FMP is made, same deal with Haruhi. Kadokawa decided to get them to make Nichijou this year and next year it's Hyou-Ka's turn.
FMPs sales are not going to be much more than 5k and the light novels have already peaked, it has had 3 series worth of promotion... Even if FMP4 would've outsold Nichijou... the fact that Nichijou sold a lot of manga volumes this year (49th highest) made it more worthwhile for Kadokawa than another FMP.

Westlo nailed it. It's about money and sales. Take your Sigma and be happy cause it won't get more visual than this.

Well done, at least I didn't have to say it this time.
That key art is Clannad-levels of gorgeous.
We can probably expect some extras involving Minoru Shiraishi too :p
