No, the second season to Mai Hime is Mai Hime Next Stage. Someone must have photoshopped that.

But, that doesn't really prove anything, does it? That ANN article doesn't have any details, it's just saying that there is going to be a sequel. I'm pretty sure "Mai-HiME Next Stage" is basically just a tentative title. A lot of sequels have "Second Stage" or "Next Stage" after their names when they are first announced, before their true names are announced to the public. Also, that image has not been photoshopped. According to several sources, it's a scan from the latest Shounen Champion. Matthew (over at Matthew's anime blog) has translated parts of the article, and even Moon Phase has some info about it. I can't read Japanese, but the words 舞☆MAiD show up a few times. I'd say this is for real. Looks like it's going to be an AU of Mai-HiME. that's gotta be real. that's the character design they showed awhile ago for the main character.
but hey... it's a good thing Mai Hime's not a marketing ploy right?
