Coming to theaters? Yeah, right. More like 5 of them. I'm pretty sure my state won't even get a showing.

I'm surprised this movie has a trailer and page on Apple.com.

I too will never see this film at any theater within 500 miles of me.
I'll just have to wait for the DVD release.. in about 2 YEARS !
Looks awesome though.

It's good to see Ed's hair outline is back.

Definetly.
I don't care for this movie at all, but I'm still gonna go see it if I can since there is a showing near me.

I feel ya. Im more likely to see it since I've moved but a 2 hour drive isn't worth it when I haven't even finished the series...

I'll probably end up buying this since I am a big FMA fan, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too high for this movie. After being spoiled by the amazing animation from Brotherhood, I'm a little disappointed to see the drop in animation quality; hopefully the story line will help make up for it, but I can't help feel from the trailer that this would have made a better video game then movie.

you dont know that that a new FMA series has started and ended. The lates series follows the original story(manga story). The first series cut away form the original story like 12 episodes in. So what you mention has nothing to do with this movie except for them both being fma. BTW the new series is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

I loved the lack of a solid outline for the people with Xerxes blood because it emphasized that they where not full blooded Amestrians.

Hahaha, I love how this is a meaningful thing. I'm thankful for it too; in fact, Brotherhood's animation style in general is what prevented me from watching it (well that and a lack of the dub at the time.) =/

I liked the film, despite not having seen any of the episodes of the FMA: Brotherhood series (I have the series...just haven't watched it yet). I'm looking forward to seeing it again, this time with an English dub.

I honestly don't like the character designs. Edward's hair is really spiky and Alphonse's armor appears as if it shows emotions. Will at least Lin Yao appear?
