Everytime I subscribe to a thread, I get a 'Topic Reply Notification' once someone posts a message to the topic. OK, until there it's normal, but something like an hour or two after having got this e-mail I get another one, strictly identical to the first notification, even when there's only one new message to the topic: this lasts since a while and all the confusion consecutive to this begins to be unnerving...
Any possibility to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

I'm having the same problem too; of course that's if I get a reply at all

Mine also says "" every time but it has always been like this AFAIK
Otherwise, I got the topic reply notification for this new post twice once more btw...

This has also been happening to me for quite some time. Any way to fix it? I’m also having the "" problem a few other people mentioned.

I got a pop-up window two nights in a row telling me I had a new PM, but when I checked they were the same message. It's only happened once, though, so I may have just done something wrong in my profile.

I do seem to be getting two as well (always assumed there was more than one reply or replies to two different threads)
They're not identical, e.g. one has a blank to: header, the other is to: Undisclosed-recipients. |

There it is again! I just got two more pop up windows telling me I had a new PM, yet when I checked my inbox, I didn't get anything news.

Is it possible to get a message from an admin or anyone else into the ANN team? At least to know what's going on, or if it is planned to 'fix' it one day or not... Or simply to not get the feeling to be a worthless sh!t...

We don't really know what's causing the duplicate message, fixing it is on our infamous "todo list," but there are many more items to fix, add or change ahead of it on that list.
