Alright the first DVD of Burst Angel comes out next month and I'm thinking about getting it. But before I do I want to know what all you guys think about it.

I'd like to hear about the story, Character development, and animation quality.

Also I'd like to know how much fanservice is in it. If you could rate the fanservice to some other shows like Love Hina, Ikki Tousen, and GTO.

THANKS.

The best way to sum it up is to say it is Full Metal Panic, BGC: Tokyo 2040, and Kitty Grade mixed into a pot togeather.

The animation quality is very very good (with good CG).

The point is : there is no story and no character development in Burst Angel Sad

A good one.

But you're right : there is one story in Burst Angel but it's always the same for each episode :
* someone (usually Meg or any girl with big breasts) is abducted by the "bad guys"
* Jo comes to save him (or her) with her big mecha.
* Repeat until #26 Razz

I didn't see it that way. I wonder if you liked Kiddy Grade.

I have been hearing many mixed reviews of this series, but so far I'm still plan on seeing it. and I always watch a couple episodes of a series myself before judging it, but from what I've heard it sounds intereting to say the least.

It's awful. If you like mindless action and fanservice than pick this up. The presentation is good, it's just the chracter are so damn annoying.

Just looking at all these peope praise the shows tell me that they have bad taste in anime.

A bit harsh don't you think? I've had the fansubs for quite awhile, but have not gotten around to watching them yet, so I can't comment on the show as a whole. I have seen the first 2 eps dubbed though, and I can say the animation quality is pretty good, and FUNi has once again brought an outstanding dub to the table. Monica Rial's voice as Jo is so... unlike Monica's voice, that I never would have guessed it was her save the credits.

For a second there I thought you were talking about Club to Death Angel Dokuru-chan, but instead I guess you mean Bakuretsu Tenshi. Yeah, it's a good show. Very derrivative of BGC though, like the Rahxephon to BGC's Eva.

Perhaps, I was being too harsh. It's barely watchable with the nice animation. What did you think of the first 2 episode?

I only seen like the 6 and I couldn't take it anymore. It's like a harem + action series. I like action and fanservice, but there's something about this show that put me to sleep and makes me lose focus. There's definitely other coming out that series that deserve more attention: Planetes, Genshiken, Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd Gig.

You left out Melody of Oblivion. I do feel that Burst Angel/ Baku Ten needs to be given attation because it is a good series.
