Too bad the box set quality has gone down a lot.

"ANN" being one gestalt entity, as usual....
This specific section of Bleach is the last part I truly found awesome. There were some good bits once they move into "fake" Karakura City, but when there was a twist that meant that an entire year of the manga had been meaningless, I threw my hands up in disgust. Yeah, the action can be great, but Bleach's plot is kind of downhill from here.

Didn't you read the whole review? I fail to see how overrated this was.
Talking about the DVD box, I was kind of confused as why Ulquiorra doesn't kill Ichigo even though the Espadas were ordered to eliminate the intruders.
Also what's with Grimmjow's comment about something different on Orihime? I never got it
I like how this season is going, but sadly we'll have fillers next time.

Nice review. Ichigo vs Grimjow is one best animated fight scenes I've ever seen.

This.
That was an awesome battle, and honestly, I think that it totally makes up for the boring scenes with that pink-haired guy.

Plot- and character-wise, Rukia vs Aaroniero is one of the best moments of the series. And yeah, his final form is
Szayelaporro is one of the most disturbing villians I can remember, although the really twisted stuff comes after the horrible filler that follows this set

I'm a little confused by the reviewers comment about how the dub "renders moot" Michelle Ruff's Rukia in the Aaroniero episode. I thought it was fine, I wish he'd at least elaborate on what he thought was wrong with it. Did he think she wasn't emotional enough in that episode or what?

The filler arc that followed this was so damn painful. Even the fake Karakura town fight after was pretty meh, and that was actual content. I think that the filler arc following that (the Zanpakto arc) was actually a bit better. They REALLY padded that karakura fight.
The Grimjow fight was awesome, but most of the fights with the other espada were pretty half-assed like you said. Still though, the Grimjow fight I think made up for it.

Watch Gundam Unicorn, watch the Appleseed movies, watch Final Fantasy: Advent Children. And if you really want something good, watch Sword of the Stranger, especially the final battle.
Now, if you want to qualify your statement by saying television series, even then I could name Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Samurai Champloo. Heck, even Piccolo versus Android #17 from Dragonball Z was better.
Not only do I not believe that Ichigo versus Grimjow third fight is the best fight scene of Bleach (Ichigo versus Byakuya and Second Hollow Ichigo versus Fourth Espada are way better), but I don't think it is even all that great a battle anyway. In the form of AMVs it looks cool, but when I actually watched it I was disappointed and unimpressed.

@dtm42
He/she did say "one of the best," not "the best."

And I'm saying that if he thinks Ichigo versus Grimmjow was good he should actually watch something good, such as Roy Mustang versus Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or Mugen versus the three brothers from Samurai Champloo. Or, virtually any fight from the titles I listed.
Maybe redranger didn't know about those titles beforehand, but he does now.

That is a thing to remember with the big shounen franchises like Bleach and Naruto. While it may not be the case for redranger, many of these shows' fans are young, newbies into the world of anime and manga. All the people I've met who still think Bleach is nigh-perfect are under 16.* They need some context. So in that regard, giving some recommendations is a great idea.
Just... don't sound so angry when you do it.
*I'm gonna get ganged up by a crowd of 30-year old Bleach fan posters, aren't I? This is just from my personal experience!! I'm sure there are exceptions!!

I came across as angry? That was not my intention. Exasperated yes, but I'm not angry. I just wanted to educate redranger and recommend some titles to check out if he is looking for some well-animated fight scenes.
Anyway, we're getting off topic so I'll end it here.
