On the Anime Network site, there is a statement that Anime Network no longer has "television rights" to these titles, but they are still available on DVD. Is some other network picking these shows up? I haven't heard anything about it.

Do you have a link to where that statement appears? I can't seem to find it on the TAN site.

I'm sorry, it's actually in their forum.
http://www.theanimenetwork.com/forum/forum.php?boardID=6&postID=60704 Stab Masterson is one of the mods and apparently an employee of TAN. |

Hmm.. well about the only thing I can think is either they have decided to exlusively license the broadcast rights to someone else, or they feel the shows aren't doing well on TAN or are hurting DVD sales. I mean TAN automatically gets TV rights by virtue of having ADV as their parent. So they can't just lose the rights as it were.

One of the mods at the TAN site said they are not going to Cartoon Network or G4, but she couldn't say WHERE they were going. Hmmm...

It'd be interesting if this means another network is getting into the game and picked this up. Only other ones I can think of at the moment aside from those two are the Action Channel or the Interna...I mean, the AZN BoNaNzA ChAnNel. Of course, it's too early to assume that or even if this means anything at all, but I guess we'll see in due time.
