Sounds interesting.
Seems like it's going to be a nitty-gritty action film rather than a huge budget, CGI-fest.
The budget should be enough to easily get by unless they go after well-known talent for the cast.
Mark be down as keeping an eye on the progress of this...

Evil or Very Mad How can they turn something as Kite with not that much story into a Two Hour Action flick. No I'm Serious here,the two Kite OVA are if you watch them side by side an hour and a half if best if not 90 minutes(especially how short the first OVA is)

I mean seriously, sure the original Kite OVAs had Action but its been banned in countries that has whats considered Taboo and could be called a Porno due to its Adult Themes.

Sounds like things are moving in the right direction! If the director can keep these promises then it could turn out to be pretty cool (fingers crossed).

From what they've said about the plot it's not a direct adaption - the plot has been tweaked.

I'm sure they can get a decent movie out of that. It doesn't necessarily have to be 2 hours long either - maybe it will be the triumphant return of the 90 minute action movie (I wish!) ;)

I wonder how this adaptation is going to work. Who they'll cast.
Plus the director has some neat ideas. Just hope it pans out.
