The mix of the goofy hairstyles and really dark colour pallette is kind of off-putting.
This is off topic, but what's the deal with the little picture-in-picture footage of the guys talking over the video? Is that a thing in Japan? |

I believe that footage was from a talk show of some kind. It was probably people commenting on it while they watched. |

Anyway, Takumi Saitoh is lookin' good. I've never played the Phoenix Wright games but I'd like to see this regardless. |

Looks like they are going to cover most of the cases from the original GBA game with DL-6 being the last and probably most drawn out. |

I think it may also have parts of the steel samurai case? I think the woman that makes a brief appearance at 1:28 may be Dee Vasquez. I was also happy to see Manfred Von Karma, a couple shots that I think included Gumshoe, Larry, and someone dressed as the blue badger.

Pardon me if my fanboy is showing, but OHMYGOD they're doing the DL-6 case! And they actually put in the panels showing crime scenes, and they kept the dramatic finger pointing, and the crazy hair, and the zany characters, and...and... RARGH I'm so excited! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually looking forward to Phoenix Wright more than I am The Avengers.
Only time will tell if this comes out okay, but because Takashi Miike has only let me down a few times, I'll keep my hopes high

I wasn't so sure when I heard there would be special effects but now I'm pretty excited about this.
The anime hair is a little off-putting, but nothing to complain about as a fan. I just forsee having trouble watching this with non-Ace Attorney fans.
