Is it me or everybody in anime/manga industry are jumping into male undergarment department?
If the show is shounen/seinin genre I can understand but show that have middle school girls (Even though it has darker undertones compare to other magical girls)?! Erk, I still cannot wrap my head around the whole idea. o_O; |

This along with the K-ON! brands being released really does seem to be the marketable trend at the moment.
In reality though, is it any different then what we do in america with slapping iconic characters on everything as long as it can make a quick chunk of change. And coming from a society where dakimakura are widely popular it was only a matter of time before they moved to other mediums. And don't even get me started on what you can find on J-list. |

Well it makes sense to me because it's definitely seinen Also the shounen/seinen/shoujo/josei label is not indicative of content or actual genre but rather demographics targeted by the publisher, though it can have cross-demographic appeal of course. K-On, A-Channel, Hidamari Sketch, Sasameki Koto, Hourou Musuko/Wandering Son (even younger characters) etc. are all Seinen as well you know |

I like them!
Although maybe the ones with Mami is a bit pinkish for my taste - the ones with Madoka would be totally acceptable to me. And $28 doesn't look that bad too. |

As long as they don't start releasing Ro-Kyu-Bo boxers.

Whew! For a second there, I thought the side that showed the chibi versions of Madoka and Kyuubey was the front side, around the crotch area of the boxer briefs, not the butt-cheek side. That'd even be more inapro-pro.

Oh they probably will, just won't sell them to the US after that little instance with the print t-shirts awhile back. |

I guess there is enough of a market in various places around the globe for male underwear with cartoon characters on them. Is this a new discovery? The show is sienen and aimed at male viewers. Just because the show's characters are mostly middle school girls doesn't mean the show is for middle school girls, I know it sounds tricky. |
