If judged guilty, the defendant is forced to repeat the work of all the animators, painters, voice actors/actresses, foley artists, directors, composers, musicians, and writers whose product was unlawfully disseminated, slaving away a commensurate 12-14 hour work day 7-days a week for months on end in a cramped cubby to draw, ink, paint, write, direct, compose, perform, act out, plan, develop and execute the shows, shedding sweat for sweat upon their brows the collective creative toil of a studio's earnest labour on a starving artist salary, while ALSO required to assume the financial risk and personal accountability of producers, investors and broadcasters who take responsibility for hundreds of employees and wage their capital into the project with the uncertain anticipation of a meager remuneration... only to have ALL their work given away for free online, summarily consumed with a swift one-click download by self-entitled pirates who by virtue of the loftiest mental gymnastics and apologetic casuistry vehemently claim it as a cultural patrimony, and be subsequently subjected to their haughty, rapacious, critical demands of MORE for LESS, with the ultimate reward to be gushingly informed that, with a climactic, bittersweet irony, these are "fans".

Okay, this kind of punishment doesn't actually happen, but it would be hilarious if it did. Laughing
