It's going to be a seven disc release. if it follows the 26 episode pattern, it'll be (roughly) "4-4-4-4-3-3-3" |

You're off by an episode on one of them  . It'll probably be:
4-4-4-4-4-3-3 = 26 just like Last EXILE. |

I don't think my vol 2 samurai champloo is a fansub, I bought it at an import store and it seems legit

That's simple enough to answer. Does it have English subs? The legit R2 release of Champloo does not. Also, does it have any eps other than 3 and 4? Every R2 Vol. of Champloo has 2 eps. So, if it has English subs and/or more then eps 3 and 4 it is a bootleg. Of course, if it's legit, it also would have cost you about $60. |
