I nominate Captain Global from Macross/Robotech and Captain Nemo from Nadia.
Little known fact is Nadia was directed by Hideaki Anno (Evangelion), who was an animator in Super Dimensional Fortress Macross early in his career

Might want to add Sanji's cynnical twin brother Jun Satou from Working while you're at it. Let's see, there's Akiza from Yugioh 5Ds and Kallen from Code Geass. Both have similar hairstyles, a big bust and depending on whether you consider the dub, their last names for one reason or another are altered. Then there's Kazuki Muto from Buso Renkin and Takashi Komuro from Highschool of the Dead. Right down to the same hairstyle and color, same black school uniforms and even same red shirts underneath. And then there's Gildartz from Fairy Tail and Shanks from One Piece. And then there's that butler guy from The Sacred Seven and Sebastian from Black Butler. Oh and yeah how can I forget this one, Yoko Kurama in demon form from Yu Yu Hakusho and Shesshomaru from Inuyasha. Then there's Shinobu Morita from Honey and Clover and Akira Takizawa from Eden of the East (same studio and the character designer for Eden of the East is the manga artist for Honey and Clover so...yeah). Oh wait, wait! Three more! Minato Sahashi from Sekirei and L from Death Note (not best pistures I could find but Minato wears the same white long sleeve shirt and blue pants and fairly similar hairstyle. Then there's Evangeline McDowell from Negima and Victorique from Gosick. And finally *drumroll* ............Psy from Heroman and Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. Well, same hairstyle at least. I know back in the day a lot of people thought Yui from Fushigi Yugi and Haruka/Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon looked alike.

For the uncanny resemblance list, I would have to list Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed and Euphemia li Britannia from Code Geass.
The other ones that have caught my eye is obviously C.C. from Code Geass and Amber from Darker Than Black. Why didn't Gia put either of these comparisons onto the list again? It's strange to not see this happen. |
