I live in Canada and i just got Techtv for the sake of anime. I heard that there will be great shows like Crest of the Stars, Lain, Betterman etc. After I got the channel I look at the schedule and realized there is no Anime Unleashed. I was fustrated, I thought to myself that my cable box is broken so I waited until 11:00-1:00 pm last night and found nothing, no anime. I checked the schedule in the Techtv site and saw that there is no Anime Unleashed in Canada and there is only in US. I was like AHHHHHHH Im so angry. So does anyone know if there will be Anime Unleashed in Canada? If not I will cancel my subscription to Techtv next month.

Appearantly, Tech TV's Canadian TV license is pretty narrow, and doesn't allow them to broadcast much more than the type of programs they currently have on. They are however applying for an expanded license, but I don't known how long it will take them to get one.

Tech TV in Canada? Can anyone say oxymoron? Ha ha ha just a little joke there. (really, its just a joke) But anyways, it is truethat thier license does limit them a bit. Though I am not an expert at this topic, I do not think that anime is in the neer future for TTV in Canada. So for now you have to be content witht he Screen Savers and Thunderbirds!
