Considering that the K-ON dub was pretty decent, and we've some veterans from that show here, I'm thinking that this dub will be good.

I can only hope-degeso.

well i bit surprise on cast list really a total curveball casting on most of them really going unexpected on the casting.

really most of them are fresh new really i guess want to develop more their future va talents.

looking at some of cast list

squid girl's dub aka Azusa Nakano
chizuru's dub aka tsumugi
vee as female got fear of squid girl
ui as sanae with squid girl obsession

indeed mostly some of cast from k-on, nanoha, & zero series while rest all newcomers.

I have no idea who 15 out of the, what, 17 unique cast members are. I suppose the K-On! dub was alright. The DVD even had special features. Rather weak special features that were in a format that struck me as disturbingly similar to a great many Japanese extras, but at least they were there, and in English. (Something the other 3 companies can't be bothered to do too often; I'd trade my Spice and Wolf II coin for a commentary track in a heartbeat. Who wouldn't? Would it have been too much for Brina Palencia to have dubbed the Holo bonus features?)

I'm hoping that this dub will drop the honorifics in the "translation"; I contend that a translation which heavily uses foreign honorifics in ways that no native US English speaker would (eg:Dokuro) is not a true translation.

As long as it is dubbed well, honorifics or no, I'm all in favor of this. Throw some extra features on the disc (A hope against hope) and I'm elated. Do this and release Bakuman's dub in November (or earlier) and I'm ecstatic. Make that Bakuman release come with some special features, and I'll be beatified.

Even though I've been watching Media Blaster anime for a long time, I can't say I know anyone on that list.

I find it hard to believe (but not really all things considered) there is a actual person named Juicey out there, but hey, it's original. That's for sure.

Can't say I've watched the K-On dub, but I've heard mixed reviews.

I recognize almost none of these names. Are most of these guys new or have I just not watched a recent dub in long?

So I guess I'm the only one who likes Cristina Vee.

I'm kinda dissapoint with the cast but I don't like the show anyway. My opinion is moot.

However I'm noticing some actors who were also in Tweeny Witches and my love of that show hooked on to the dub so I'm hoping that it works out well.

I mostly watch subs so it doesn't matter to me but I just noticed at the end of the article it mentions there is going to be a second season of this in Japan, so I'm wondering how I missed that announcement. Hopefully, sales will be strong enough for season 2 to get licensed as well.

It's like a who's who of "Who?". Never liked this show, but i'm glad they're using a pool of new talent.

I'm glad it's mostly new voice actors. Too many people complain that dubbed anime uses the same voices all the time.
