Excellent! Not all hope for a sequel is lost.

YESSSS!!!!

This series was so FASCINATING!! But it was just one of those shows that I felt I'd get more enjoyment out of it if I marathoned it on a bigger screen with a dub. I stopped watching it online about halfway through, so I'm ECSTATIC to find out how it ends!!

Not sure if I'm following your reasoning here. Whether a sequel gets made is entirely a made-in-Japan decision. I don't think Funi finally releasing this will have much impact one way or the other.

Ah, you shouldn't have even considered that since I'm one of those who believe the American market doesn't affect the Japanese by that much. If it's at least licensed there some cash will flow to the other side, and if it does surprisingly well that means the possibility of a sequel is bigger (although very small overall).

Me!! I got super excited for two seconds, then I read the rest and was sad. Sad

I'm not really interested in this show but at least the fans have something to look forward too. Very Happy

@egoist - you still have fond fantasies of Feris dominating you and forcing you to eat dango, don't you? Wink

This makes me pretty happy. IIRC, this was my favorite series of the season when it came out. And I *wuv* Ferris... In fact, the Ferris-Ryner dynamic was really great.

I'm looking forward to buying this series once it comes out.

Oh yeah. I still re-watch a few scenes now and then (more like everytime I'm drunk). Laughing

Are they sure about this? It tanked in Japan, I don't see it doing much better in the US.

Oh wow, wasn't expecting this to actually get a release here but I'm happy about it. Fun show and I really liked the second half of it so I'll be sure to pick it up once it comes out.

*raises hand*

Those bastages had my hopes going... even if they turn the dub into a parody (it screams for it) and leaves the original vocal track alone, I'd be a VERY happy otaku.

/looks at his collection of LOGH cels and hankens

...very happy indeed. That said, the title (LOGH) has a rather fervent following in the states, but I'm not sure they have the numbers to justify it.

*shakes fist at Funimation for making me look twice*
