Oh, sweet, I've been wondering how the dub of Angel Beats would come out! I just checked it out and it's not perfect, but I'm overall pretty impressed with the effort into it. I'm especially impressed that they actually made TK work in English, I was sure he'd come out sounding awkward but he's PERFECT.

I had a different opinion on TK. He sounds cool in the original Japanese dub just because of his random one-liners in a different language. I feel he lost some of that charm when he speaks the same language as everyone else in the English dub. Perhaps they could of scripted the character to speak some badass Spanish lines.

No, I think even more of the joke would be lost if he was speaking in Spanish. To me, anyway, he always just sounded like he was repeating lines from rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution verbatim, with only a vague idea of what they actually meant. He still sounds like he's randomly quoting music games or a DJ or something, and since that was why he was funny to me it still works, IMO.

Does anyone here know if they offer any type of service for subtitled anime on NetFlix? I do not currently subscribe to Netflix but I have seen their list of Anime and it's growing everyday and becoming quite impressive.
I just don't know if NetFlix has the technology and/or bandwidth to provide dual language content.
I do remember seeing an article where they released a few shows, with only season 1 and/or 2 with original japanese language and english subtitles; Naruto, Bleach, Monster and that may be it.
Does anyone here have Netflix and watch anime on it? Does it provide the original Japanese language or is it all english dubbed?
Also, how's the streaming quality? Is it at least DVD quality (480p/i)?

The only subtitled anime I've seen on Netflix comes from Viz. Everything else has been dubbed with no options of audio/subtitle choice (aside from a few series allowing for the disabling of onscreen translation).
The video quality will vary by series. Some are displayed in their native 480, others at 720. I've yet to see 1080, though to be honest, I rarely pay attention. I can tell it's 480 only because it's not given in 16:9 aspect ration (FLCL, for example).
Do note I watch this via my browser connected to my 1080 television which upscales the image (by personal preference setup). Can't say if this will be the same via consoles, TVs, or players with the Netflix "app".

You mean there are two series I missed? Interesting, because I saw they added Dance in the Vampire Bund, Canaan, and Baka & Test, but missed HSotD and Rideback.

I think it's time to let my 360 cool just a bit longer.
