What? No Irene "Rally" Vincent, "Minnie" May Hopkins, or Bean Bandit? Or a large part of the cast of Baccano? I would have put in Jodie Starling from Detective Conan, too.
No Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh?! Or Chibodee Crockett from G Gundam?
Glad Revy's there.

Would have liked to have seen Joey from Heroman on the list, but yeah, no Baccano characters?
And the new poll isn't working, getting "Survey has not started" instead.

Why are the polls getting harder for me to decide?!?! ;A;
Can't I cheat and say, "I love the whole world."
By the way, I remembered a few more Americans:
Carrie from Bamboo Blade
Mr. K from Gravitation <-although he was a bit more of a stereotype than Hetalia's America.
Those American students from Marmalade Boy

I was going mentioned him too but the Abridged Series said he was from Canada.

Bandit Keith is from the US. The Canada thing was a joke.

America, @#$% yeah! I love Hetalia's America, he's such a goof.
...Russia's probably my favorite, though. [/Russophile]

Have seen only 30-40 episodes of Hetalia, and so far it's Germany. Russia is rather dull, United States didn't make me laugh even once, Italy is just annoying, England is okay, and France would be a close second because he's pathetic. The rest aren't even worth mentioning.

Glad to see Jack King make the list, but I do have to agree that the lack of characters like Chibodee Crocket is sad to see. Also, this list is missing the best American ever in anime: Black Shaft from Ring ni Kakero 1!
A jive-talking, disco-dancing, lady-loving black guy who can take out gun-weilding thugs with nothing but his fists and is the American Junior boxing champion of the late-70s/early-80s. Also, when he takes on Japan's best junior boxers he puts together the craziest, most entertaining team of non-boxers ever!

I'm guessing Kate from Sketchbook didn't make it because she's Canadian.

I'd like Terryman from Kinnikuman.

Surprised that Jack King got on the list and not Chibodee Crocket, considering that the OVA Jack King was known for was never licensed, while G Gundam is the second best selling Gundam series in America.

According to Oda-sensei, if OP was set in the real world, Franky would be considered American. Does that count?

Sigh, I almost feel sorry for Gia. Everytime one of these lists comes out, people seem to care more about what isn't on them then what is...

Well at least they inspire readers to think about the subject and come up with more examples. That's good, no?
(What's not good is that ANN's automatic Encyclopedia links didn't activate for this article. I want to look up Genshiken by clicking on its name.)

It's a column in progress. More things will come to her mind as Gia makes more lists and this reader "feedback" can help her in this way, as long as it doesn't get her down. Gia always seems in such a good mood to me though...
I look forward to more lists!
