My VCR is set since I will be at my parents' house on Christmas.
At least Tech TV is giving us another good option on TV. Most of America will probably be watching Shaq vs. Kobe on Christmas Day. Wink

Heh, and the Heat will win in spectacular fashion. I don't care if the Van Gundys are defense-oriented coaches. With Shaq now free of the parasite known as Kobe and with his new pal Dwayne Wade, the Lakers are as good as done, as apparent by their 82-72 loss the other night to the Grizzlies. Laughing Only 4 points in a quarter? That's bad...

Anyway, on Christmas night I'll probably be watching my new DVDs or something. I mean, I like Last EXILE and all, and I've seen up to Vol.5 on DVD, but if I'm going to watch the rest of it, I'd rather do so in better quality than what's on satellite TV Anime catgrin.

You know what the Lakers' excuse was? - Kobe was looking ahead towards his showdown with Shaq. (He only had 11 points vs. Memphis.) I agree that the Lakers are done - Phoenix looks like they're the team to beat. (I never liked the Lakers anyway - bunch of crybabies.)

Anyway, I'm going to record the last 13 eps. of Last Exile since I already saw the first half. Ep. 14 starts at 6:30 PM EST.

And when G4 took over, they began this grating practice of randomly speeding up & slowing down audio throughout the show (which is especially apparent in the intros, where the frequent tempo changes in the songs cause me genuine headaches). I don't know if it's their equipment sucking or a "time saver" to allow for more commercials or what, but it's made everything unwatchable for me ever since G4 destroyed (er, sorry, "merged with") TechTV.

Very true. Although I like video games I cannot stand G4 because its the same shows over and over again. THe day the nintendo ds came out they aired ALL their programing of the day in "ds" vision. It was a big ds as the basic screen and in one was the actual show and it was really impossible to watch comfortably and in the other screen was random garbage about what the ds does. I really dont care for that at all Very Happy

I haven't watched G4 yet to see how they handle their anime block. Do they show commercials every 5 minutes like TechTV did?

Yep. That never changed; instead they aggravated the problem by screwing with the show's speed to make even more room for commercials. Confused

I just found out today that Cartoon Network is going to air the Read or Die OVA Christmas night at 11:00 PM EST. So there's going to be another great option to watch anime on Christmas Exclamation
