Hello to all animefans.
If you were to choose Prince of Tennis or Slam Dunk, which would you choose and why? I would choose Prince of tennis, because the characters there are all nicely drawn, and it's not just about playing teenis the whole day, there are also funny parts like when Inui makes his vegetable juice. And the characters all have their own different attitudes and skill, and they also show all kind of moves in tennis, I just think its a pretty good anime. But when Ryoma keeps on winnig, it gets a bit boring. Slam Dunk is, i don't know, slightly boring? |

Slam dunk is 10 times funnier and deeper than price of tennis.
Girls prefer Prince of tennis more because of the the bishounen? I know this anime is very popular among the fangirls and the comedy wasn't that funny at all. |

I would like to choose prince of tennis rather than slam dunk because there are many cool characters in it and I love to play tennis.

Manga wise, I prefer Slam Dunk. Anime wise, I choose Prince of Tennis. Slam Dunk anime is too much like the DBZ anime by dragging them out when the manga makes them shorter. Prince of Tennis is not really like this at times and keeps things at a reasonsable pace.
But best sports anime (and hell best manga as well) of all time is Hajime no Ippo/Fighting Spirit |

I would pick Prince of Tennis over Slam Dunk. The manga of Slam is decent but the Prince was more interesting and the characterization of the main character is different than standard sports anime.
