I suppose I was the only one hoping this would finally be the panel where Kodansha announces that Vinland Saga would be published in North America.
But I suppose 6 years for a stunning award-winning Nordic epic still isn't quite enough time for Kodansha to figure out if it would do well here. It's only the fifth ranked manga per the Bayesian scale on ANN's own database, so I'm sure it must be hard to figure out if there is much of a fanbase for it. Maybe after they get their Facebook and Twitter accounts up they could possibly get on that, perhaps in another 6 years. |
