Since only two volumes are out, it's not so surprising that's all you've read. Even if you're reading scanlations, I doubt anyone wants to use crappy raws from a weekly.

Azuma has really improved since Azumanga. There, he seldom used backgrounds, and what he did use was minimal. Here, he puts a lot of effort into his backgrounds in addition to maintaining his wit and goofy characters.

Oh, man, some days I feel totally out of the loop. I must confess I've never heard of Yotsuba. What's it about?

That is a giant understatment.

Scanlation teams usually have several members with subscriptions to the magazines that release manga. When a title pops up that intrest the scanlation team, they'll scanlate it, using the raws. Later on they may re-scanlate it with a tankubon version, but crappy raws from a weekly are workable, if you have a physical copy of the magazin to scan.

All you need to do is get a highquality scan of the weekly edition, and give it to a talented image editor, and they can fix it up quite nicely. Sometimes you can't even tell it's from the weekly mag.

And yeah, this is sort of off topic, but I couldn't help myself.

Something better than Azumanga made by Kiyohiko (the same author)??? Oh, that is probably a MUST read for a lot of people...Is like Azumanga, with lots of laughs there, or is it completely different?

You aren't the only one. From the posts here, I assume it's from the creator of the popular Azumanga Daioh series. I'm not a big fan of that, so this probobly won't interest me.

Well, it's sort of different, like a full comic form instead of four panel. it is also tons crazier, with Yotsuba, a girl with little to no common sense. for a fan of azumanga daioh, it would be like, as one site said "If chiyo-chan had a brain transplant and the donor was osaka"

I'm not sure it wont interest you. Seriously, try it. downlad the zips, cause it's worth it. and if you don't like it, all you wasted was a couple of minutes.

If it's from the people that made Azumanga, then just beware. Twisted Evil Ultra lameness ensure.

You probably haven't heard of it because well it isn't licensed yet.
Here's some info on it.

I really like Yotsubato. I have read the first 18 chapters, which is about halfway through book three I believe. It is by the same author as Azumanga, and has a very similar feel to it. Both books are about everyday life, and the crazy things that go on it. Yotsubato focuses on the antics of a six year old girl named Yotsuba and her family and neighbors. The title translates to something like “Yotsuba and”
