Normally I have no interest in side anime merchandise such as clothing, posters, figures, etc.
But I want this hat on an irrational level.

I love this. Rather than the normal, really obvious shows of being an otaku that most adults could never get away with, wearing this would be a nice little wink-and-nod that only other anime nerds would enjoy.
That said, I can't wear hats. My head is too big, I look like a balloon wearing a yarmulke.

It's be totally awesome if they released this before the summer con next year when I'll be cosplaying a (genderbent) Kotetsu! Save me the trouble of having to make one myself =P *crosses fingers for a decent price...*

YES!
I was going to make my own but I've only sewn aprons and shorts so I don't exactly know how to make a good hat....this is definitely a good thing.
Now if only the limited edition t-shirt didn't sell out. I hope Viz brings it over here, it was really nice looking.

That hat is godlike. I think I would look silly in it though.

One of my first thoughts when I saw Kotetsu's "street clothes" was, "Sweet hat."
So it goes without saying that I want this item for my very own.

Yea very true way more interesting then a normal average hat, which yuo can find and any local retail store. It's better off having something which means more. All I can say i'm glad i'm an otaku as others would also gladly say lol.

This is precisely the kind of merchandise I was thinking of when I said I hoped Viz would throw a few favors to those outside the 14-25 demographic. Something you could wear in your thirties as without feeling like an adolescent fanboy/fangirl.
