Tiger & Bunny Staff: Kotetsu's Hat to Be Made for Sale

Tiger & Bunny executive producer Masayuki Ozaki mentioned on his Twitter account on Wednesday that he tried on a sample of the "hunting cap" worn by the anime's main character Kotetsu T. Kaburagi. According to Ozaki, the sample was made since the hat will eventually be sold as merchandise to the public. Ozaki wrote in the Twitter post that he was looking forward to seeing old men around the world wearing the hat while walking down the street.
Viz Media announced earlier this month that it has been named the exclusive American product licensor for the series. Viz noted that it showcased the property to potential merchandise partners during the 2011 Licensing International Expo, held in Las Vegas from June 14 to 16.
The character Kotetsu ranked #1 in a recent BIGLOBE poll regarding voters' favorite character in the 2011 spring anime season.
