REVIEW: Sket Dance Episodes 1-7 Streaming

Having just finished reading the review and having seen the episodes in the review I do have to agree. I do find it a funny show to watch and could probably end up as one of my favorite comedy anime, but I think they should just stick to the comedy and not so much the heartwarming aspects.

I too would like to see some arcs occur as well, and maybe that might happen in some later episodes.

Trust me there will be some arcs later on when we go into the backstories of the main trio. It has some of the best writing in the series.

I will take your word for it, but I am saying this as not having read the manga so this is news to me.

I have read to the latest chapters of the manga that has been translated (149) and I will have to say the writing becomes way better when they get into the characters backgrounds. If anybody wants to know if the creator has any skills at writing should read the one-shot and then you should find that he's quite the mangaka. Wink

Right, but it's very likely that the Sket Dance anime will not get that far. It'll depend on whether the anime is helping generate some sort of revenue (be it in TV ratings, increased manga sales, DVD/BD sales, merch, etc).
