Well I'm going to get QB 2 BD. of course I am sure it will get delayed at least twice before it gets released.

When did MB say they licensed Squid Girl? I don't remember seeing any announcements about it.

They never did. They did say that they had a "big" license that they couldn't announce just yet a while back. It's unknown whether this is that license or not.

Ahh, I forgot about that. That could be it then.

Getting QB for sure, but I'll probably skip Squid Girl.

Squid girl just looks like something I'd be interested in, and I'll probably get it barring something else I have to have.

Having seen Squid Girl on CR recently, it's definitely a collection keeper for me, although this "part" sequence is a little off-putting. I'll just chuck this up to perhaps it's a way to sell while dubbing the second part.

I'll pre-order this one for sure.

QB2 complete collection is a must have for me, on BD. I'll buy a Squid Girl complete collection off of any company that puts it out. Squid Girl doesn't really seem like a MB-type title, though. CR is confirming the solicitation.

If QB2 BD complete collection actually does come out on Sept. 13, it will be an impressive feat considering the first part of the QB2 only came out on DVD on May 24 and the second part is being released in July.

Squidding YES... and I have a nice, big paycheck coming up so I can get some cash set aside for it, too. Awesome.

Now, here's hoping it, y'know, actually comes out. Still waitin' on Zetsubo, MB...

I'm surprised Media Blasters is still licensing stuff.

Maybe they should actually release DVDs for their current licenses. Like a certain dark comedy interspliced with Japanese social commentary that is filled with quirky characters?

Sure would be nice.

Hmm... who am I kidding, of course I'll purchase Squid Girl... if I have enough money, the epic edition of Gears of War is top priority in September... a long with Disgaea 4.

I would probably buy Squid Girl when it comes out. I've seen a bit of that and it was pretty funny. Never got around to finishing it though.

It's a sad day in anime when a show I'm interested is both licensed and dubbed, but I'm not excited. I'm just going on hearsay, but from what I've heard of the last couple shows Media Blasters dubbed, they've been below the standards of dubs today and sound like cheap rush jobs.

I'll wait to see what they say about Squid Girls dub (which would probably benefit from a touch of Texas considering it's a comedy) and make a decision then, but I'm keeping away for now.

That would be a shame if the dub for Squid Girl sucked, but one advantage of my evolving attitude is that I don't really care since I fell in love with the show subtitled, so I don't "need" a dub. These days, a good dub is always a welcome addition but I'm totally cool with the original voices, subbed.

I'm finding the dub for Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny to be thoroughly bland. It doesn't crap the bed or anything, but boy, talk about being devoid of any kind of spark.

IT: DD is one of my least liked dubs. Sure the dub for the first season wasn't great either but it was fun to listen to. This one is just bad.

Queen's Blade dub was a mixed bag IMO, but it is not completely terrible.
