AWW YEAHHHH~ That's how the beastly idols do it!
But the song was really good, uhh but i have to admit the japanese version of Heartbeat was kinda fail. SNSD is doing well in japan too, cool!
Can't wait to hear what's next. Really, having an op/ed song for an anime is great and easy promotion~ Good going JYP!

It probably helped that the A-side wasn't a rahash like many debuts by Korean acts. Anyways, good song, listening to it like crazy.

Didn't Kara sell more than that with their most recent single "Jet Coaster Love?" I think it was over 100K first week. Not to mention TVXQ and Boa.

The key term here is "debut single." "Jet Coaster Love" was not Kara's first single in Japan, whereas "Take off" is 2PM's first single in Japan.

Jet Coaster Love's profits also went the japan disaster, so that may also be a reason. And of course TVXQ and BoA sell a lot in Japan, they've been in the market over there for quite some time before the rush of korean groups in '10-now.

I don't think I've enjoyed an anime ending quite as much since Durarara's "Trust Me" by Yuya Matsushita. I know he's not Korean, but the catchiness of "Take Off" reminded me of how I felt everytime "Trust Me" would come on.

whoops, i think my eyes just skipped over "debut" because of the title of the topic.
Anyways, its great knowing that kpop is seeing it's second wave of success in japan.
