YesAsia gets virtually everything. They won't give you the first press goodies tho.

And is it gonna be what? Will they appear explaining they thought about their travel to USA, and all of that? Because if it's just their concerts...Well, I mean, it's something more personal?

well...no one knows. i'm hoping they'll include the full concert, engrish speak and all. how could they not include hyde's "do you like crab?" ?? that was the talk of the town...that an ken's awesome dolphin show.

they did an interview, maybe they'll show footage of that. but no subtiltles unless tofu decides to release it (which would be smart)

It was a good show, but I'm still trying to figure out what the singer said about bananas...

That was the bass player, Tetsu. He said "would you like to touch my bananas"

I would recommend against importing...

...now that this is official:

L'Arc~en~Ciel "LIVE IN USA" DVD
Jan 25th from Tofu Records

However, the chances of getting the same kind of first press are close to nil.

Well, probably it's best to find out what kind of first-press item it is, but if people want to see more live DVDs, especially more live US performances with bigger and badder production values, it's very, very important that people buy the Tofu release

whee! Well...I guess it depends on the differences, but i think it'll be better if fans buy it via Tofu, so that they see how popular it is. Then again, I don't know...

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I dislike buying things just as a sign of support. Historically, Japanese editions have had more to offer for me, so that's what I stick with.

I have to agree with the fact that if people don't buy the Tofu release, it'll be harder in the future to release another "Live in USA (or elsewherw" of a J-Group.

But, I wouldn't like having to buy something just for being sure that the company will continue releasing things...
