Today when I checked my bank account, I noticed a near 30$ chunk missing. I was like "what the the hell". I investigated further and noticed it was from Bandai, so I logged into my Bandai account. Sure enough, It said it was in the final stage right before being shipped out.
I know some places will ship pre-orders maybe 2-3 days in advance, but 10 days? Dayum.

My K-On! DVD arrived Monday I believe. RACS ships out product as soon as they receive it, TRSI does it too, but I think they might wait a little before they drop them. Street dates don't really matter much in online anime retail anymore. Even brick and mortar stores don't seem to pay it much mind.

I just gone mine today from Deep Discount. I didn't even know it shipped but I was shocked to find it at my door this afternoon.

Rightstuf is also known for sending stuff considerably early, recently received King of Eden on Monday, which also is street dated for the 26th. It's actually pretty awesome provided you save enough knowing it's coming.

I'm staring at my K-ON vol 1 DVD right now. Good ol' Rightstuf sending it out as soon as they can.

Hey, Rightstuf has sent some of my stuf over 2 weeks in advance before--this is nothing too special.
Not getting K-ON, btw, so I'll excuse myself now.

I feel so left out with everyone already receiving their copy of K-On! in the mailbox. There has been no recent charges to my credit card so I have to wait for Blu-ray copy a bit longer from TRSI.

Maybe they didn't receive the BluRay's yet? I got my DVD in the mail today from RightStuf.

I know Zac got his a few days ago, and my BD arrived today so some have already.

That is a good thing IMO.
I have shopped at certain Best Buys in the past, that had stuff on the shelf 2 weeks before they were "supposed" to be out. Of course with anime, there really is not a "penalty" for early releases.
