Viz Viz Viz Viz Viz Viz Viz Viz Viz YEN PRESS!
No Tokyopop. But I suppose having a Tokyopop series on the list would just rub salt into the wound...
I'm impressed that Blue Exorcist made the list, though. Sakura Hime was pretty much guaranteed, since the Gentlemen's Alliance was also a NYT regular. Nura isn't my favorite manga, but it's nice to see a new series doing well.

And Viz dominates this list. Well, I'm pretty sure I already know who will dominate next week list...

I bet you if Naruto was on Tokyopop's label, we wouldn't be having this conversation on the other forums.

Sweet. Blue Exorcist is definitely a new favorite of mine. Glad it caught people's attention (and SO glad Viz is doing it bimonthly).

Wow, so Skip Beat is really popular! Nice to see Blue Exorcist there, even though I haven't read the manga or watched the anime yet. With all these top selling titles though, wouldn't Viz be able to support some of the lower selling titles like Gintama (just saying this cos I remember people commenting on how they were fine with the Twilight graphic novel selling well as Yen Press would probably use the profits to keep putting out stuff like Bunny Drop).

Hurray for Dengeki Daisy! My newest favorite in the shoujo genre!

Viz is own by Shogakukan and Shueisha. Of course viz is going to dominate. They have 70% of all the best manga in Japan.
Nauro is not always on the top.

I've never really paid much attention to these lists, but I'm honestly surprised to see how well Rosario + Vampire did. Then again, that is at the point where the series seems to have pulled a genre switch from harem comedy to action.
