Woah. This is something to keep an eye on.
Wasn't Funi producing a Dragon Age movie? What happened to that?

According to the update or the article, the Dragon Age film is underway on production as well. I'm interested, hopefully I can check them out soon.

I'm torn here. On the one hand, Mass Effect is one of the tiny handful of games with an outstanding story that actually can stand on it's own as excellent without the preface: for a game story.
Then again, because of that, a movie based on the actual plot of the game seems redundant and if it isn't based on the plot of the main game I must wonder if it will be anything more than the typical side story/cash in.

Yeah, remember when they released that Dragon Age anime? That just blew me away. In 3D, no less.
Think maybe we should focus on what we've got right now. Their palette is pretty big at the moment as is.
Wait, did Funimation license Skip Beat? I thought I heard something related to Skip Beat and Funimation awhile ago. Haven't heard a word since. Am I wrong?

Sadly, nobody has licensed Skip Beat!
Looking forward to this, even if ME2 was a disappointment for me.

Why not just watch the Godfather films.
I love the fact you slag off the idea and then present an equally pointless one as if it's some great revelation.

Sheesh... I hope you at least played that game to partially justify that statement. And even if you thought the gameplay was crap, I'm pretty sure that the two games' narratives and characters were universally praised across the board...
Anyway, I'm genuinely excited for this game. The two games have really become my favorite story-driven pieces this generation... hope it'll be decently translated to the screen. Whenever I hear of U.S. game-to-anime adaptations, I keep thinking about Dante's Inferno & the bad stuff that I've heard about the Dead Space animation...

Crap. I'm going to feel really bad if I haven't at least finished the first ME by the time this rolls around.

I agree, Mass Effect 1/2 are probably my favorite games ever. and with Bioware supervising this, it might turn out to be something worth watching.
