Yu-Gi-Oh! GX is only on the list because the yugioh fans only buy the manga for the free card inside... Rolling Eyes

Yu-Gi-Oh GX beating Bleach? Wow, I don't know if I should be happy or what. Laughing

Seeing Library Wars on the list is a nice surprise. The anime was quite good, I still need to get to the manga.

I've seen several auctions on eBay where sellers sell the manga sans cards.

I like the new table format =) Very clean looking. Reminds me of the tables in my honours thesis.

Plus manga in N. America aren't really selling all that well.
It wouldn't be too hard for something to get a bit hot and shoot straight to the top.

They're pretty similar, only major difference is how the ending plays out.

It's easy to explain: Insert desirable promo, and sales go thru the roof.

Now how many of those are legitimate purchases for the book itself along with the card and not scalpers taking the card and discarding the manga to the wayside to sell only the card is questionable. Like I said, i've seen eBay auctions where people sell the manga sans card (heck, I even saw one 100+ lot of books sans cards once).
