While Anime Boston is having some decent guests this year, I really wish I could go to Sakura-con instead for Kotono Mitsuishi. I'd love to get one of my Sailor Moon DVD sets signed, or heck, even one of my Excel Saga DVDs. Hopefully there will be another chance somewhere down the line to see her in person.

Kotono Mitsuishi currently plays Nobita's mother in Doraemon.
A regular or recurring role on a highly popular, long-running mainstream television anime series like Doraemon, Sazae-san, Chibi Maruko-chan, etc., is about the steadiest job that a seiyuu can land in Japan. One can work on them for 15, 20, 25 or more years.
These roles, I have read, also rank among the highest paying in the anime voice acting field in Japan.

It's announcements like this that I wish I had the money to spend on luxuries like Cons. I could get her to sign my DVD of Gundam Seed Destiny!

WHY?! OMG I sooo wish Kotono Mitsuishi decided to go to Anime Boston instead! (Usagi wail) She has to be on the opposite coastline! Not to mention there's nobody at Anime Boston's guestlist I want to see (well other than Gregg but he's a regular). If we could get Sailor Jupiter's voice actors wether English ( Susan Roman ) or Japanese ( Emi Shinohara ) that would make it up to me but that's very unlikely at this point ^-^' Oh well... maybe next year we'll get some kick ass guests

I'm sure that Mitsuishi-san is probably getting good pay for her role as Hummy in Suite Precure--another show that could run 49-50 episodes for a full season.

90% chance at least 50 anime fans go up to KM asking her where the Sailor Moon stuff in the U.S. is.

I wish I could meet Kotono Mitsuishi. She's one of my favorite VAs. I'd have her sign my Evangelion TV series boxset or maybe Rebuild. Ooh, or maybe an Excel Saga DVD!

Moriyama coming to the US, I'm shocked. I would have loved to meet him. Oh Kotono-san here too? That's too awesome.
