Hi guys........ I just got the first volume of Wild Act by Rie Takada. It is the story of a girl named Yuniko Sakuraba who is obsessed with everything Akira Nanae (her fav. actor who happens to be dead) and will go to any lengths to get his belongings! Along the way she meets the actor deemed as the "New Nanae" and they sort of fall in love... It is an awesome shojo/romance/action manga and I highly recommend it!

I quadruple the recommendation; it isn't very popular because no one hears of it, but the story and art are simply stunning. I have read all that has been released (5 volumes) and the plot keeps on getting thicker as you laugh with the two lead character's antics *huggles Ryou* It is a must read!

How wild are the acts? I'm just curious. Also it's an action manga, which mean there's fighting?

I always see this title at the bookstore and I've always wanted to read it, but they won't seem to carry vol. 1. My local store only has a bunch of copies of vol. 4.
I'll keep in mind the recommendation though and keep looking.

I've read that book in Borders up to the newest, volume 7. (I know, I know, it's bad, but I have so many, some series I just read there, I do have 193 manga volumes, most of which I got at that Borders so I don't feel particularly bad when I do, anyway...) It's so good! The art would be nicer if Yuniko weren't chibi every single second, but the guys are nice and hot. It's also very soap-operish and takes all these twists and turns, unexpected or not. Exciting-ness! Anyway, very good shoujo.
