I wonder if that change is gonna eff up Viz's rights to the series. Wow, Kishiro really made good on his threat, huh?

Yeah this show that he's not the guy to mess around with! And I wonder if Viz is going to say something about this or just turn their backs on the license.
Is this doing well in the U.S.?

Man I hope this doesn't affect the English release... I'm dying to finally read more, and what's this other side stories thing? Hopefully things will release on schedule, any more of this sort of thing and James Cameron will probably have finished filming Battle Angel by that time...

Huh. Considering that Viz is pretty much a branch of Shueisha, I do wonder how this affect the American releases.

It will probably mean that Viz will only release up to chapter 100, or whatever the last chapter that was released by Shueisha. When titles change publishers, it usually means new rights have to negotiated. Since it is moving to Kodansha, they might release it themselves.

That made me laugh... and cry at the same time. Not only that I will probably never be able to buy volume 7 of BAA:LO, but now there is a chance I'll never see anything past volume 15 either... crap.

Pyscho: It must make some money if it got as far as it did. Or maybe they just keep it for every time Cameron mentions the movie.

Wouldn't be that surprising, if the rumors/speculation about all the DBZ stuff being mostly the fault of Shueisha editors turn out to be true. I say go back to volume ten and pretend everything after that never happened.
