Man, I didn't even know this volume was out. Crap.
I admit, the whole apocalyptic battle did confuse me to death, especially with all the new characters that were just thrown at us suddenly. Even re-reading it I still was scratching my head.
Also, did they really have to have yaoi implications in this story? Seriously? I know that Rune is supposed to be Yamato's lover in the past, but honestly it just...ugh. Sorry, I'm not a yaoi fan, so that whole thing made me want to hate their friendship post-Jealousy.

All C's is a bit low. The art at least deserves a bit higher. I don't find it hard to follow at all. I've been following it in Shonen Jump and enjoying much more than I thought I would. That end of the world scene was supposed to feel sudden and rushed I guess. We're probably going to see that scene again in a more develeoped way. That bit we saw was just to show that that's what their future is. Time travel ahoy! I like the character designs for all the new characters and would like to see more, and it looks like each one will get their own story with Yamato. I like the hair on the afro guy and the delivery guy.

I really don't like Ultimo. I tried to force myself to read it because of Viz pushing it like crazy, but it was one of the most cliched manga I have ever read.
It would've been better if it were a deconstruction of shonen manga, but Ultimo takes itself too seriously.

You shouldnt be susprised if it's too seriously. This is created by an American artist who is solely responsible for Marvel.
However though it may be one of the most cliched mangas , it was definitely one of the craziest. and ended on one hell of a cliffhanger.

jr: He's responsible for certain popular Marvel characters. The company existed before him. And Takei does most of the work, while Lee just consults with him.

Well I am by far no hater. Cause i like the series so far.
Though I wonder if it'll have an anime version of Ultimo? We can preety guess Stan Lee would voice as Dunstain.
