Ahahaha, starting a new magazine. That's funny. Only Jump could do that in these economic times.

Sounds cute. Also might be good to get those REALLY REALLY young kids who aren't already reading Jump.

Why does this just seem like a shameless way to cash-in on already popular series?

Wonder if it's gonna take place within the timeline or in an alternate one

Nope, Chapter 144 is the last one, it was uploaded back in 2002.

Would be cool to see Vegeta appear, as a child, or something. Toriyama never went into detail of his childhood very much.

^ I recon we see saw enough of his childhood. A royal brat made by King Vegeta, raised by Freeza.
But if Laharl became mega popular....I can see Chibi Veggie do just the same. xD

DB started out with many SD characters anyway, it looks more like the DBSD is going to be more about Goku and Krillin's. The other popular character that the article mentioned I can think of is Arale from Toriyama's other mega-hit Dr. Slump, since he established himself in DB that both manga were in same continuity and Arale is mega popular character in Japan.

This sounds hilarious. I'm also looking forward to Rock Lee getting his own manga. This is like the Ramenman spinoff for Kinnikuman all over again.

Now I want a Chibi Kenpachi Zaraki manga.....
