Sakura no Ichiban was formerly announced at ComicCon by Tokyopop, so we can assume that one's official.

Great, I can see TOKYOPOP ruining half of the list with really bad translations already. And is it kinda sad that TOKYOPOP has pretty much fallen to doing Eiichi stuff?

I really hope they do Kampfer well, or I'm going to jump off a bridge. Tokyopop was the only company I didn't want licensing it.

Never thought I'd see the Kyōran Kazoku Nikki manga get licensed since everyone seems to have passed on licensing the anime (really, FUNi, even you aren't interested?). I'm looking forward to reading it, I really enjoyed the anime, maybe this can spark some interest in that.

I was hoping that Digital Manga Publishing would finally get a better piece of Shungiku Nakamura by getting, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi: Onodera Ritsu no Bai, but alas, Tokyopop always has to get it! Anime cry

When Digital announced the Guild I was pretty sure that was as mainstream a title they could get.. ;p

How awesome, I'd just been recommending Chibisan Date to my friends! That manga's got some gorgeous renderings of Nantucket, it's totally worth checking out. Yahoo! Smile

Well, that's Tokyopop's niche I suppose. I don't read ecchi, bl, or yaoi, but someone has to put this stuff out.

Kampfer or maybe Maid Suka are the ecchi-est of any of these and and there hardly that bad compared to normal ecchi standards.

Now if they can only fire DJ Milky or whatever stupid name he's given himself right now. Dude brought down TOKYOPOP down to this level.

Okay good, I'm glad someone else feels the same as me. They're picking up good manga but I'm scared to think of what they'll screw up

What is up with the influx of maid-themed manga licences and releases these days? There are a couple of them but I just can not remember what their names are. The one that I can name is Maid Sama! since I am currently reading it.
