NEW YORK, NY (June 26, 2024) – Milan Records has released WIND BREAKER (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK) with music by RYO TAKAHASHI. Available everywhere now, the album features original score music written by Takahashi for the new anime adaptation of Satoru Nii's hugely popular manga series. Included on the album are two original vocal songs by Takahashi, “Higher I'll Go” featuring Foggy-D and “Stronger” featuring Zachary Fitzgerald and Foggy-D. Featured in the anime's inaugural episode, “Higher I'll Go” takes listeners on a high-octane ride with its powerful vocals and hard-hitting instrumentation, setting the tone for the action-adventure storyline – listen here. Meanwhile “Stronger,” featured in episode 9 of the series, is a rousing and anthemic ballad, its lyrics echoing the series' emotionally resonant themes and the storyline of protagonist Haruka Sakura – listen here. WIND BREAKER SYNOPSIS
Anyone who causes pain, who brings destruction, who holds evil in their heart will be purged by Bofurin without exception! Where the average scores are the lowest, but the fights are the strongest. Furin High School is renowned as a super school of delinquents. Haruka Sakura, a first-year student, came from outside the city to fight to the top. However, Furin High School has become a group that protects the town called the “Chime of the Wind Breaker” – Bofurin. The heroic legend of high school delinquent Sakura begins here!
