Jay Choe to be Otakon 2024 Guest

Washington, D.C. (June 21, 2024) – Jay Choe will be a guest at Otakon 2024, according to Otakorp Inc. He is a long-time consultant in the K-pop music and events industry.

Choe staffed concerts, tours, and festivals throughout the late second- and third-generation K-pop eras. He has since returned to K-Pop in 2020 to consult for and prepare rookie groups for debut, and he has had a hand in many aspects of K-pop, from M&A to auditions, songwriting, music production, and PR training.

He debuted PIXY in the U.S. during Otakon 2022; sponsored their US tours; facilitated several projects with Rolling Quartz; and currently consults for a number of pre-debut and indie artists in Korea.

Choe will join Otakon 2024 as a panelist, bringing along a few of his industry colleagues, including Young-bae, and Hyomin An. In 2022, Choe started the dance choreo VIP sessions with PIXY, allowing fans to learn dance choreo directly from the artists. He promises more surprises are in store for this year.

Otakon 2024 will be held from August 2 to August 4 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
