DerpyCon to Host a Staff Fair on June 25th Ahead of its 2022 Convention
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – DerpyCon is proud to announce the debut of its first ever Staff Fair, occurring June 25th from 10am – 2pm at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and online at www.derpycon.com.
The Staff Fair will provide prospective staff and local businesses with opportunities to chat with convention organizers, learn more about the convention and how it works, and see what volunteer staffing openings are available. The goal of this staff fair is to introduce anime convention staffing to those who have never staffed before and help open the doors of opportunity to those individuals.
DerpyCon will be showcasing a variety of the positions they have available in their Con Ops, Personnel, Programming, and Publicity Departments, including Human Resources, Safety Officers, Logistics & Storage, Network and Mobile Technology, Web Services, Game Room, Panels & Scheduling, Viewings, Guest Liaisons, Cosplay Management, Exhibitor Services, Publications, Social Media, Sponsorship and Industry Outreach, Livestream Support, and much more. Staff will also be on hand to speak with local businesses about opportunities of collaboration and local support.
Anyone interested in attending the DerpyCon Staff Fair may visit the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick on June 25th between the hours of 10am – 2pm, where signs will direct individuals to the specific room of the staff fair. Those unable to attend in person will be able to view the staff fair and speak with staff online via the DerpyCon website, www.derpycon.com. Further information about the online portion of the staff fair will be provided on the website just prior to the fair.
