Lolitas and Cosplayers February Gathering in California's Central Coast
SOLVANG, CA - For the first time in the history of the Central Coast, lolitas and cosplayers will have a free admission gathering during the 100th anniversary of the historic Danish-themed town of Solvang, CA on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
This gathering is sponsored by Anime Five Cities (AFC), San Luis Obispo County's only anime convention, and Solvang Trolley Ice Cream Parlor, the Central Coast's only lolita-themed ice cream shop.
"We don't have very many opportunities to gather the cosplay, lolita, and anime fan community here in the Central Coast. We are so happy to be able to team up with Solvang Trolley Ice Cream Parlor to create an event for the whole family that benefits all of us," says Anime Five Cities Convention Chair Scott Melot.
To help celebrate AFC's inaugural free admission event, companies such as Bandai Entertainment, MugiBunny, NaniCo, Pacific Media Expo, and Viz Media have donated prizes for the event raffles.
