Crunchyroll's Japan office President Vince Shortino said: “The Super Robot Wars franchise has always had a strong following with hardcore mecha fans overseas. Sotsu Managing Director Takashi Izuhara said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to promote our contents around the world. Instead of leaving our digital distribution up to internet piracy, we've chosen to work with the strongest online channel for anime in Crunchyroll.
