Mono Announce 2010 North American Tour

Dates include appearance at D.C.'s Nightclub 9:30

WASHINGTON, DC - May 18, 2010 - Japan's instrumental rock group, mono, following the release of their fifth studio album “Hymn to the Immortal Wind,” kicked off their second North American tour on April 30th and will continue through mid-July.

The band, famous for their five year nonstop touring schedule, took a one year hiatus to focus on Hymn (released in March 2009). The romantic narrative album, arranged to convey an epic love story to its audience, has been praised by the likes of Paste Magazine and Pitchfork, who called mono's melodies “achingly pretty.”

The band will make its way through the East Coast this summer, performing live at D.C.'s Nightclub 9:30 on June 2 supported by The Twilight Sad. Tickets for the D.C. show are available through the Web Site www.ticketfly.com. All tour dates included below.
